On November 17th 2018 the Salesian Cosmology Group hosted a morning conference in Milford, Limerick. The theme of the conference was 
Lifestyle and Consumerism and the presenter was Dr. Cathriona Russell TCD.
Sixty-five people attended and appreciated the topic and engaged fully in the lively presentation.
Participants felt that they have a long way to go, but as it was pointed out by Cathriona, we must not lose hope! It is a crucial time in our history. What is needed just now is the awareness of Justice, Peace & Integrity of Creation. The market is promoted always under the banner of economic growth, but we need to be aware that while market is necessary, it is not always sustainable without justice. A circular economy will address the balance of people, profit, planet, produce and sustainability!
