Walking with God in an Evolutionary Universe is the title of a retreat that will take place in Drumalis Retreat & Conference Centre, Larne, Co Antrim from 30 June to 6 July 2013. This Creation spirituality retreat will be directed John Surette SJ.

The retreat will be a journey of exploration into how our spirituality, our theology and our prayer can be enriched by the new understanding of the universe and how it functions.

Taking the three basic principles of the universe – differentiation, interiority and communion – as a framework, participants will discover how they can help develop a vision of God and the spiritual life which is integrated with the new story and the new cosmology.

John Surette SJ lives in Lagrange Park, Illinois, where he is involved with eco-spirituality and eco-justice groups, including Spiritearth and The Well Spirituality Centre. He is author of The Divine Dynamic, which explores the relationship between humans, earth and the creative power of the universe.
