Two Kenyan experts on climate change will discuss their work on promoting a climate law in Kenya at a Trócaire event in Dublin on Tuesday 11th October 2011.
This event is part of Trócaire’s ongoing climate change campaign, Up To Us.
John Kioli Kalua, Executive Director of the Green Africa Foundation, and Cecilia Kibe Muthoni of the Kenya Climate Justice Women Champions, two of Trócaire’s partner organisations, will talk about the impacts of climate change in Kenya and about their experiences in promoting a law for climate action in Kenya that supports climate justice for all, particularly the most vulnerable.
All are welcome to attend this talk, which will be followed by a debate to fill participants with enthusiasm to push harder for our own climate law here in Ireland.
