As the Dáil returns from the summer recess, Christian Aid wants to deliver a strong message to urge them to keep global poverty issues on the agenda.
Christian Aid wants TDs to take action to tackle not just the symptoms, but also the root causes of poverty and is calling on people to email each of their local TDs asking them to:
Introduce a strong climate law.
Commit to the UN target of 0.7% aid by 2015.
Help end international tax dodging.

Supporters living in Northern Ireland can email their MLAs by going to http://act.christianaid.ie/ea-action/actionea.client.id=48&ea.campaign.id=11422.
We need to ensure that the plight of the world’s poorest people is at the forefront of our politicians’ minds as they debate the issues and formulate new laws.
