Anna Louise Shepherd and Evelyn McDowell sent us this latest news:
Our group will be 2 years old in March this year. We have been very busy with applying for a Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful Small grant to help us plant and maintain a roundabout on one of the streets that we Litter-pick on around the church, that is part of the AVC Councils Adopt a Street scheme. The photos are of our first of several work parties to strim the roundabout in readiness for rotivating and then planting with wild flowers.

We have also been delighted to have had a much greater variety of birds visit Hoy’s Meadow comparing our Big Garden Bird watch figures from last year and this. Bird table and bird boxes have been installed. We eagerly await the native wildflower bulbs that we spent the Award from Eco Congregation Ireland coming up soon.
