Parishioners highlighted the ECI Climate Justice Candle at all liturgies and children’s visits and community prayer groups.
Reflection was on our local and global ecological situation, including Laudato Si insights and suggestions to repair and protect our home.
Children took part in healing of our plannet in preparing, planting seedlings and bulbs with ongoing care. We included an afternoon to join in beach cleaning.
Also there were inputs on our theme Hope and Action bringing suggestions and urging us to remain faithful in our efforts.
We extended invitation to neighbouring communities to join us in promoting awareness of climate change in wider community and beyond.
