A Retreat in the Heart of Nature, Donegal – 25th-29th August 2024

The Centre for Wild Spirituality will be hosting ‘A Retreat in the Heart of Nature’ in Ards Friary, Donegal, from 25th-29th August 2024.

Participants can expect a slow and reflective agenda, delicious meals, good company with retreatants from Ireland and overseas, and gentle invitations to deepen into your own wild spirituality as you wander and wonder on the spectacular Ards peninsula.

Led by deeply grounded teachers who have invested their lives in restoring intimate relationship with the land, morning sessions will provide a foundation for contemplative wanderings along the coast and in the spectacular Ards forest. The evenings will provide an opportunity to connect more deeply with one another, sharing stories, and witnessing the deepening happening in one another.

The guides for the retreat will include Victoria Loorz, Director of the Centre for Wild Spirituality, USA; Valerie Serrels, Director of the Wild Church Network; Diarmuid O’Murchú, author of Beyond the Pandemic: Spiritual & Ecological Challenges and the upcoming Ecological Spirituality; Seán Ó’Gaoithín, master gardener at Glenveagh Forest Park; and Craig Chalquist, depth psychologist.
