An Eco Congregation supporter from the USA got in touch to say that her local environmental group, the Roanoke Valley Cool Cities Coalition, plans to wheel colourful recycling bins and chant eco slogans during their annual St Patrick’s Day parade in southwest Virginia.
Ann Martyn and her husband, Frank O’Brien, lived near Ballyvourney, Co Cork from 1997-2004 where they spent seven “very good years” enjoying the local food and farming as well dancing and walking.
