We established a group of 6 parishioners, led by horticulturist Máire, also a parishioner, to tend to the church gardens, keeping beauty and biodiversity in mind. We recently planted cyclamen, bright and cheerful for the Christmas season, and trimmed fuchsia bushes and agapanthus.

COP 27 – each morning, for its duration, we said Pope Francis ‘Prayer for the Earth’.

On 14th Dec. we will show the Laudato Si documentary film ‘The Letter’ in our parish centre to which we have invited neighbouring parishes, friends, family and neighbours.

In January, 2023, we will place a ‘Climate Action Tree’ in our church, inviting all to write a promise to undertake some appropriate action and hang it on the tree.

Homeless People in Dublin City – we are collecting non-perishable food for the Capuchin Day Centre, serving 800 plus meals daily and 1,200 weekly food parcels.
