Christian Ecology Link is holding a Storm of Hope retreat weekend in Ringsfield, Suffolk, from 15th to 17th October. The theme will be “Gardening in Gesthemane; being with nature on the way to resurrection.”
In 2010, the International Year of Biodiversity, the UN invites us to celebrate our dependence on creation. “We flourish as Creation flourishes; before the march of monoculture, we too are diminished,” says a CEL spokesperson.
“This weekend we will gather on behalf of this fragile web of life. Midway between two Easters, we will walk the way of the cross with Jesus, its origin and goal, and so join in renewing the face of the earth.”
