Westport Eco Congregation completed Season of Creation 2024 with a Blessing of the Animals on October 5th at the foot of Croagh Patrick. It was unfortunately a very wet afternoon however that did not dampen participation. Families came with their beloved pets and enjoyed a short ecumenical service with Rev Suzanne Cousins Holy Trinity Church of Ireland and Fr John Kenny St Mary’s Westport.
Aughavale Group of Parishes were delighted to erect bird and bat boxes in the church grounds of Christ Church Castlebar, St Thomas Dugort and Turlough parish church recently.
