In the Parish of St John the Baptist, Clontarf, we took a number of initiatives to mark the Season of Creation:
Sr Bernadette from the Justice and Peace Group put together a lovely display for the front porch of the church.
We planted a rose tree in our rose garden after 10.00am Mass one morning.
At a weekday Mass and at our three Sunday Masses, we invited those present to take a bulb from the front porch of the church and to plant it in their garden or in an indoor pot.
We also prayed the common prayer for the 5th anniversary of Laudato Si at Mass every morning.
