The Parish of Maghera Theology Group in Newcastle County Down, ‘Where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea’ welcomed Catherine Brennan SSL, Catholic representative on the ECI committee, who spoke about environmental issues – spiritual, practical, community and global.
The group has studied works by authors like Michael Morwood, Richard Rohr and Brian McClaren and are presently reading Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si”. They were interested to hear ideas and advice on the question “How can I green my church?”
