The Future We Need Group is a group of religious from different congregations who meet regularly around issues pertaining to sustainable living and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
Currently the group is establishing some creative input for the Season of Creation beginning September 1st – October 4th.
At a meeting on July 25th it was decided to write up a statement for Intercom which would assist the clergy in disseminating some useful information for this precious time and to make contact with the CEO’s of the variety of supermarkets throughout our country encouraging them to continue the battle against single-use plastic and useless packaging which ends up in landfills around the country.
