It was great to see Eco-Congregation Ireland supporters among the 5,000 people who took part in People’s Climate marches in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast and other places in Ireland on Sunday 29th November to coincide with the global call for action on climate ahead of COP21.
Irish people joined activists throughout the world in taking to the streets to show world leaders that they believed it was vital they reached a legally-binding worldwide agreement on climate change at the UN Climate Summit in Paris. In doing so, they demonstrated how they cared about the future of planet earth – not only for themselves, but for people in developing countries already impacted by climate change, for future generations and for the whole of Creation.
