Ever fancied trying out living in an eco village? Now’s your chance!
Cloughjordan Ecovillage Experience weekends are being held from April 20-22, May 25-27 and June 22-24 2012. An ideal opportunity to visit and enjoy an ecovillage experience in Co Tipperary.
These (one-off) weekend courses give participants an opportunity to take classes in subjects like green building techniques, renewable energy and the fundamentals of growing food while experiencing a taste of life in Cloughjordan.
A rich opportunity to learn about many aspects of life in Ireland’s first ecovillage and to develop the knowledge and skills needed for sustainable living. Stay on site in Django’s EcoHostel and take part in a range of tours, presentations, discussions and hands on learning experiences. The programme is offered by ecovillage members who are committed to creating an enriching learning experience for visitors and to making Cloughjordan ecovillage a leading contributor to education for sustainability.
Weekends start on Friday at 8pm and end on Sunday at 3pm.
