Northern Ireland’s first accredited full Permaculture Design Course will take place this July at the Glencraig Camphill Community on the idyllic North Down coast.
The two-week course will give participants the chance to explore some of the principles underpinning transition culture, and will help to bind a community willing to work together.
Environmental author, Graham Bell, will lead the course, using teaching methods that will enable people to learn and remember through experience and information-sharing.
There will also be times of relaxation and recreational fun, with opportunities to build networks of like-minded individuals.
All aspects of environmentally and socially productive systems will be covered, including how to integrate these systems, by design, into well-sited proposals.
