‘Our Environment and its Impact on our Health’ is the title of a seminar to be held in Mountmellick, Co Laois on Thursday 14th October from 7.30-9.30pm.
The event, which takes place in the Laois Partnership Offices, is being organised by the Mountmellick Environment Group in conjunction with Laois Partnership.
RTE broadcaster, Eanna Ni Lamhna, will speak on how the way we treat the environment affects our health.Karl Kemple of Bord Gais will speak on carbon monoxide poisoning and safety in the home.
Elmary Purtill, a HSE nutritional specialist, will speak on getting a balanced diet from local and seasonal foods.
There will also be information on growing your own food, holistic therapy, Laois walks, Radon and more.
The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome.
