A summer school on Spirituality and Ecological Concern will take place in All Hallow’s College, Dublin from 23rd to 27th August.
Topics covered will include Biblical Resources for Ecological Awareness, Ecological Spirituality and Modern Science, The Franciscan tradition, ecology and the contemporary challenge, the Trinity and ecology, ethics of sustainability and being agents of ecological concern.
Module leaders will be Celine Mangan LSS, Dr Maria Duffy and Dr John McEvoy.
The course forms part of a new MA in Ecology and Spirituality (see following news item) but can be taken on its own either.
The course director is Dr Michael O’Sullivan SJ, Director of Applied Christian Spirituality Postgraduate programme.
