‘Water – We Can’t Live Without It’ is the title of an eco conference being organised by the Diocese of Cashel & Ossory Eco Committee on Saturday 15th May in Kilkenny College from 1.30 to 5pm.
Four speakers will give short presentation on subjects such as “Water – a source of energy”, “Our water – do we take it for granted?”, “Why we should protect our waterbasins” and “The right to clean water is a global right”.
The conference begins with light refreshments at 1.30pm and the conference will open at 2.00pm. A question and answer period will follow the speakers and local businesses will display their products and offer advice in all areas environmental.
There is no registration fee. However, participants are invited to contribute towards catering costs.
The conference is not restricted to either the Diocese or Church of Ireland community and we would welcome anyone interested in all matters “green” who are interested in this very topical subject.
