The UN climate summit in Copenhagen in December will decide how the world combats climate change in the decades ahead. It’s vital that an effective deal is done at Copenhagen, for the sake of the planet and for the millions in the poorest countries who are suffering from the effects of climate change right now.
Christian Aid invites people concerned about climate change to sign up to its Copenhagen Pledge whereby participants vow to campaign for a fair and just deal in Copenhagen, to do everything possible to reduce their carbon footprint and to lobby the richest to repay their carbon debt.
